Step 1: Going Live

To manage your live event go to your admin homepage through the “view your channel” button on the top right of the Koop applications landing page. Here you will see the most recent upcoming or past stream.

Click “view” on the event card and you’ll be directed to your stream management page. Here you will have access to your stream key, server URL, ability to “go live” on Koop, Quests, and chat functions!

To start streaming to your community make sure you are live-streaming on your streaming client of choice and have also clicked “Go Live” on your Koop stream page as well. Make sure these are both off when you want to end your stream as well!

Step 2: Using Quests

Chat during live events is chaotic. Quests are a great way to engage with your community and help viewers contribute to your stream.

Quests allow viewers to submit text, link, photos, and any other files to the creator directly without talking away from the conversation in the live chat.

Quests are a great tool to review memes from the community, submissions from a live class, or just get recommendations for what youtube videos to watch.
